Who we are

Page Extractor for Safari is published by Elena Trifonova, an individual developer, through the Mac App Store.

What the extension reads

Page Extractor reads a web page only when you ask it to: by clicking its toolbar button, pressing its keyboard shortcut, or choosing it from the right-click menu. Safari then gives it access to that one page, in that one tab, until the tab moves to another page. It does not read pages in the background and has no access to your browsing history.

From the page it lists links, email addresses and pictures, and shows them to you. That list is kept in Safari’s extension storage on your Mac for up to a day, so the results tab can show it, and is then deleted.

Network requests

Page Extractor makes no requests to the developer or to any third party. It contains no analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting code.

Pictures in the results load from the sites they belong to, as they would on the page itself. When you choose Download ZIP, Safari asks whether Page Extractor may fetch the selected pictures from their sites; it then downloads them directly from those sites into a file on your Mac.

What is stored

Besides the short-lived results above, the extension keeps your preferences in Safari’s extension storage on your Mac: the copy format you chose, any template you wrote, the picture size you prefer, and the filters you last used on each website. They never leave your device. Removing the app removes them.

Purchases

Page Extractor is sold through the Mac App Store. Apple handles payment, and the developer does not receive your name, email address or payment details. Apple’s own privacy policy applies to the purchase.

Children

Page Extractor collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
